Youth and Family Counselor/Other Licensed Practitioner
For those children facing chronic health, mental health, or substance use issues, knowing where to turn and getting the right advice and treatment is important to maintaining good health.
This counseling service provides assessment and evaluation to identify the youth’s strengths and areas of need. Based on the diagnosis, a treatment plan is developed and implemented.
The Children and Family Treatment Support Services are available to all children/youth who are 0-21 years old, are Medicaid eligible and meet medical necessity. All services can be delivered in the community where the child(ren)/youth lives, attends school, and/or engages in services.
