It’s been a great first month Back to School at Saint Dominic’s Family Services! Here are some of our students returning to our K-12 Therapeutic School in Blauvelt, NY.
31st Annual Golf Tournament
The 31st Annual Friends of Saint Dominic’s Golf Tournament presented by Building Contractors Association and the New York City District Council of Carpenters Relief and Charity Fund attracts over 200 golfers and generates over $400K for Saint Dominic’s Family Services. Although no one won one of the Mercedes Benz of Nanuet hole in one prize, it was a beautiful day at Upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, New Jersey.
July is Disability Pride Month
July 2024- Disability Pride Month is celebrated in July to commemorate the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) which was signed into law on July 26,1990. Its purpose is to promote inclusion, awareness and visibility of people living with disabilities. Our agency is proud to recognize Disability Pride Month.
Saint Dominic’s Awarded Grant With Lowe’s
June 2024- Saint Dominic’s Family Services is happy to announce that we have been awarded a $58,000 Lowe’s Hometowns grant to help renovate our Farrell Hall Kitchen and Dining area – the home of our OPWDD Day Habilitation Program in Blauvelt NY.
